We're told to love our neighbours just as we love ourselves. In practice that means we need to be working for the good of the community around us.
So we're improving our buildings to achieve that goal. To serve the local community through working with others and by laying on activities ourselves.
That might mean opening our doors to run a parent and toddler groups ourselves (ABC Toddlers, Fridays, 10.30am to 12 noon in the hall). Or it might mean letting the building out to an over 50s club (our minister's still suffering from the shock of discovering he's old enough to join!). Or it might mean developing plans to run a jobs club, helping people with the skills they need to get a job (watch this space - hopefully starting in Autumn 2012). It could mean something else. We're still finding out!
The building improvements are due in 2012. So we're working steadily towards that. So, if you live locally and you've got some suggestions, follow the contacts links and let us know what you think we could do to serve Attleborough and its area.
